Unknown Klimt at the exhibition in Rijeka

Irena Kraševac participated in the organization and preparation of the exhibition and catalog "Unknown Klimt – Love, Death, Ecstasy" at the Museum of the City of Rijeka.

She was the first to publish about the early works of Gustav Klimt in an scholarly paper "Allegorical paintings of Gustav Klimt in the Rijeka Theater" in the journal Radovi Instituta za povijest umjetnosti (36/2012), which encouraged a systematic revaluation of these significant works of historical symbolism in Croatia led by experts from the Croatian Restoration Institute. As aftermath of the program European Capital of Culture Rijeka 2020 an exhibition was prepared at the Museum of the City of Rijeka. Recent article on this topic was published in the magazine Apollo.
