Ana Šverko’s Article Published in The Burlington Magazine
The June issue of The Burlington Magazine, with its theme Works of Art on Paper, includes an article by Dr Ana Šverko entitled "Clérisseau's journey to Dalmatia: a newly attributed collection of drawings". The article attributes a collection of 136 drawings from the Bibliothèque nationale de France to the French neoclassical artist Charles-Louis Clérisseau. This is the second-largest collection of the French artist's drawings after that of Catherine the Great, which is kept in the Hermitage in St Petersburg. The study published in The Burlington Magazine focuses on drawings featuring Dalmatian motifs from the newly attributed collection, and is the first in a series of texts presenting and contextualising the entire collection.
