RIHA Annual Assembly in Stockholm

Dr. Katarina Horvat Levaj, Ivana Haničar Buljan, and Dr. Ana Šverko participated in the 26th annual assembly of the RIHA – International Association of Research Institutes in the History of Art, held in Stockholm from October 24 to 26, 2024, which brought together participants from 19 countries. In addition to the annual report, the program included a round table and an open discussion on 20th-century heritage in archives and museums, as well as study tours of the National Museum, the Modern Museum, and the Thiel Gallery. The progress of the RIHA project Visual Arts in Europe: An Open History (EVA), in which the Institute of Art History also participates, was presented.

The program featured a visit to Uppsala Cathedral and the university museum, led by Dr. Greger Sundin. The Croatian participants were received in Stockholm by Nataša Degiuli, Minister Plenipotentiary at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the Kingdom of Sweden and an art historian.
