Call for papers for the fifth edition of the conference Digital Art History to be held in Zagreb on 16th and 17th October 2025.

The institute is hosting the first regular meeting of the COST action PRAYTICIPATE to be held in Zagreb on 6th and 7th February 2025.

Call for Participation in a Scholarly Workshop is open until March 31, 2025.

The annual week of events in research and scholarship Discovering Dalmatia X will be held in Split from 9 till 14 December 2024.

Public presentation of the project will be held on Monday, 9 December 2024, at the Institute of Art History.

The exhibition on the architecture of the historic core of Zagreb will be held end of November 2024 in Brasilia and São Paulo.

Dr. Katarina Horvat Levaj, Ivana Haničar Buljan, and Dr. Ana Šverko participated in the 26th annual assembly of the RIHA held in Stockholm from October 24 to 26, 2024.

The conference will be held from October 21 to 23, 2024, at the premises of the Croatian Architects’ Association and the Zagreb Society of Architects (Trg bana Josipa Jelačića 3/1, Zagreb).

The annual international conference Discovering Dalmatia X will be held in Split from 12 till 14 December 2024.

The presentation of the book Watching, Waiting. The Photographic Representation of Empty Places (Leuven University Press, 2023) will take place on Friday, April 19, 2024, starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Oris House of Architecture (Kralja Držislava Street 3, Zagreb).

The conference Ivan Meštrović, Croatia and the World will be held on 26th and 27th February 2024 in the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery in Zagreb.

As part of a retrospective exhibition celebrating the 140th anniversary of Ivan Meštrović’s birth, the Institute of Art History, Klovićevi Dvori Gallery, and the Ivan Meštrović Museums are organising a scientific and professional conference with the aim of reexamining the life and work of Ivan Meštrović (Vrpolje, 1883 – South Bend, Ind., USA, 1962) from new perspectives.
