This catalogue is a selection of 220 units from the IAH Photoarchives, prepared in 2011 regarded the resources collected through this fund since the IAH establishment in 1961. It reflects a summary of Croatian painting and sculpture from the 12th to mid-20th century.

Photoarchives Branko Balić – portraits

The Photoarchives Branko Balić (since 1977) keeps the legacy of the named photographer, who was a permanent associate of the IAH. The collection gathers around 12,000 b/w negatives representing the works of mainly croatian artists from all fields of fine and visual arts (painting, sculpture, architecture, applied arts, design), dating mostly from the late 1950s to mid 1970s.

Radovan Ivančević Donation

Radovan Ivančević Donation was formed as special archival collection at the Institute of Art History in 2007. Ex Libris Radovan Ivančević is searchable through online catalog of the IAH library. An extensive photoarchives of the scientist gathers a total of about 22,000 units (12,500 negatives and 9,500 dia-color slides), and refers to the numerous research topics throughout his professional work in the field of history (history of urban settlements, architecture and art of the Middle Ages, national art history, iconology, design, film, etc.).
