Sustainable Architecture: Materiality and Spatial Adaptability

Ana Šverko, together with Leslie Lok and Sasa Zivkovic, professors from the Department of Architecture at Cornell University (USA), is for the second time organising an international student workshop, originally conceptualised in 2021, to be held as part of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy's Summer School under the title of Sustainable Architecture: Materiality and Spatial Adaptability. The workshop intensifies the discussion and practice on the topic of sustainability in architecture through unification of approaches and methods in adaptation of existing architecture by way of using recycled materials and 3D printing. The mentoring team is joined by Tomislav Bosnić, Zrinka Visković, Ivo Vojnović and Marta H. Wisniewska.
