Public lecture and research stay in Guinea Bissau

Sanja Horvatinčić will hold a lecture “Forms of Liberation: Monuments of Socialist Yugoslavia and the Work of Yugoslav Architects in Guinea-Bissau” on April 9, 2024, at the National Institute for Studies and Research (INEP) in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau. The lecture is part of the event “Yugoslavia and Guinea-Bissau: A Shared History”, with the participation of Dr. sc. Jelena Đureinović (University of Vienna).

The lecture is held as part of Sanja Horvatinčić's research stay in Guinea-Bissau. The research resulted from her work on the HRZZ project GLOBE Exchange, and is carried out as part of the project DIGitART – Digital network, spatial and (con)textual analysis of artistic phenomena and heritage of the 20th century, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
